The Government of India, Ministry of Power vide it’s Gazette Notification nO. CG-DL-E-1701 2022-232683 Dated: 17th Jan’22 has notified Power Finance Corporation Consulting(PFCCL) Limited to be the Bid Processing Coordinator (BPC) for the selection of bidder as Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to establish Inter-State Transmission system for 400kV Khandhukhal (Srinagar) – Rampura (Kashipur) D/c line through Tariff Based competitive Bidding(TBCB) process.

Power Finance Corporation Consulting(PFCCL) Limited (BPC) invited prospective bidding for selection of Bidder as Transmission Service provider (TSP) on basis of International competitive bidding in accordance with the “ Tariff Based Competitive bidding(TBCB) guidelines for Transmission Service” and “Guidelines for Encouraging Competition in Development of Transmission Projects” issued by Gvernment of India, Ministry of Power under section -63 of The Electricity Act, 2003 and as amended time-time. The responsibility of TSP would be to establish the Interstate Transmission system on Build-Own, Operate & Transfer basis to provide Transmission Service. PFCCL has issued Request for Proposal (RFP) document Dated 11th March’2022 to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., as regards to participate in the ICB process for Transmission scheme ffor “400kV Khandukhal (Srinagar)-Rampura(Kashipur) D/c Line” and as amended till the Bid deadline including all correspondence/clarifications/amendments exchanged between “Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.” And PFCCLin regards thereto (Final RFP).

Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., by way of Technical Bid & Financial Bid pursuant to above submitted on 26th July,2022 in response to final RFP. The offer Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.by way of a Financial Bid -final offer submitted during e-Reverse bidding process concluded on 26th August’2022 in response to Final RFP.

PFCCL (BPC) communicated vide ref.No.: 04/20-21/ITP-53/RFP dated 7th September’2022 communicated that BID has been accepted and Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.is hereby declared as the successful Bidder as per the respective clauses of Final RFP and LOI being issued.

Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., has submitted unconditional acceptance of LOI on 9th September’2022.

Further PFCCL has invited Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., to complete the contractual obligations on 7th Oct’2022.
